I only meant to take a quick look at the chart, but that glance instantly wiped out my sleepiness. After $CYS softened from its high, the short-side momentum was even more decisive than I expected.

A few days ago, in the afternoon, I watched CYS. Every bounce felt like a test, but the volume never kept up. When the price pushed up, it was pressed back down again. The lack of follow-through was obvious. At that time, I wasn’t thrown off by any false moves. Once it confirmed the pullback, I executed a long trade around 0.5173.

Now the current price is already down to 0.3087. This round of shorts has realized a gain of +793.98%. I put most of the profit in the bag first—close 80%, and leave the remaining 20% on the table. The protective level is moved to around the break-even cost as well. If it keeps dropping further, I’ll keep holding; if a rebound happens, I won’t let the profit turn into a regret.

Don’t grind away your patience in choppy action, and don’t try to regain your pride in a one-way move.

Knowing the direction is just the start—the real job is to get your position back under control to call it complete.

This isn’t the time to rush in, especially not to chase at the tail end just because you see a pullback. Wait for the next shot. The market isn’t short of opportunities—what it lacks is patience.
