Gate event contracts are a lightweight trading product centered on “price-direction judgment,” focused on short-cycle price-direction trading. No leverage and no margin accounting are required, and the trading logic is simple and clear.
Key features
1 No leverage, no liquidation risk
It uses a full-payment trading model. No leverage is provided, and no margin is needed.
The amount paid when opening the position is the maximum risk. It will not trigger liquidation or forced closure due to price fluctuations.
2 Low barrier to entry
The price range for a single contract is 0.01 - 0.99 USDT.
The minimum amount per trade is only 1.5 USDT, and the minimum order size is not less than 6 lots.
Trade directly with USDT, making operations simple.
3 Simple and transparent rules
Correct judgment: After the event ends, each winning contract is settled at 1 USDT, with no settlement fees charged.
Incorrect judgment: The corresponding contract value becomes zero, with no settlement fees charged.
4 Supports early closing positions
Before the event cycle ends, you can sell your holdings at any time from the order book.
Flexible take-profit or stop-loss is available, without waiting for the event to be settled.
Trading process
1 Buy to open
Choose assets such as BTC, ETH, etc., judge the price trend over cycles like the next 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, etc., and select a bullish or bearish direction. After selecting the price in the order book and entering the quantity, submit the order.
2 Early close
When the market movement matches your judgment, you can sell your holdings at any time to lock in profits; if the trend is opposite, you can stop-loss in advance and exit.
3 Automatic delivery at position expiry
If you do not manually close, the position will be automatically settled after the cycle ends. If your judgment is correct, it settles at 1 USDT per contract; if incorrect, the contract value becomes zero.
