This drop in $SIREN looked like it first gave the longs a promising false impression. When the price was going sideways around 0.46953, a lot of people thought it would keep rallying. I didn’t rush to decide either; instead, I watched how quickly it fell back after each push up, waiting for it to reveal its flaw on its own.

What truly made me change my mind was the subsequent spike and reversal. It looked like a strong push upward, but it was immediately pushed back down by selling pressure, and the bids couldn’t catch up. At that moment, the short signal was more meaningful than just a simple bearish candle. That’s when I got in according to my original judgment. During the process there was a rebound, but there wasn’t any new bullish strength.

After the price reached 0.03118, it ended up at +2289.49%. This run wasn’t a matter of luck picking the right moment; it was because the earlier fake breakout didn’t throw off my thinking, and I didn’t let a brief surge overturn all my judgment.

The hardest part of shorting is that when the market hasn’t dropped yet, the voices around you often urge you to chase longs. After this leg has been realized, I’m even more convinced by the logic of heavy resistance at the highs—but I still won’t turn one correct call into a reason to act impulsively next time.
