This time shorting $CHZ , what really made me move wasn’t a single big bearish candle, but the repeated breakouts at high levels—again and again—with no solid hold. The price started weakening around 0.03382; by 0.01424, the shorts finally released the sell pressure from above.
At first, it was pretty frustrating. A few quick spikes almost washed me out. Holding a short position, it’s hard not to feel nervous. But when I watched the order book, I noticed that every rebound was getting weaker: people chasing longs couldn’t push it up, while the sell-off became more and more decisive—so I didn’t let short-term swings throw off my rhythm.
That final leg of the drop fully validated my judgment. The result came out to +2788.09%. This trade really put food on the table—not because I guessed the right single K-line, but because after noticing that the high-level hold was failing, I was willing to wait a little longer.
In the crypto market, the hardest part is never just figuring out direction—it’s whether you can stay steady when the direction doesn’t pay off right away. Looking back now, the short logic is even clearer. But next time I run into similar conditions, I still won’t chase after missing out.
