The most frustrating moment of all, when debugging code late at night, is this: you’re happily working on a demo, and OpenRouter suddenly throws an error—or those grassroots relay stations that claim ultra-low prices frequently take a 502 offline without warning. Even worse, some providers publicly wave the original manufacturer banner, but behind the scenes they wrap the models in a shell, dilute them, and steal by quietly deducting Token usage. The answer quality then drops off a cliff; you can’t find anything no matter how much you check, and you can only swallow the bitterness in silence.
