📊 Bitcoin Is Sending Signals, But Many Traders Are Focused on the Wrong Thing
Most people only look at whether Bitcoin’s price is going up or down. But what’s more important is how BTC moves relative to altcoins.
When Bitcoin rises slowly and market dominance (BTC Dominance) also increases, it usually indicates that capital is still concentrated in BTC. In conditions like this, many altcoins lag even though Bitcoin is recording gains.
On the other hand, the phase altcoin traders often wait for is when Bitcoin starts to stabilize after a big rally. When BTC volatility drops and dominance begins to weaken, funds often rotate into altcoins—triggering an altseason.
This is why buying altcoins while BTC is aggressively rising is not necessarily the best decision. Many traders end up trapped because they assume all coins will fly too, even though liquidity is still being absorbed by Bitcoin.
So before opening a position, don’t just look at the BTC chart. Also pay attention to:
• BTC Dominance
• Trading volume
• Fund flows into ETFs and institutions
• Overall market sentiment
Long-term traders aren’t necessarily the ones who enter the most often, but the ones who understand where the money is flowing.
💬 What do you think—are we still in a Bitcoin dominance phase, or has an altseason already started to form? Share your reasons in the comments. Don’t forget to follow for no-nonsense crypto analysis.
