World Foundation has sold about $52.5 million worth of WLD again

At a unit price of $0.37, it sold roughly 142 million WLD, accounting for about 1.42% of the total supply.
Pantera Capital led the round, with Bain Capital Crypto, Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ:ORBS), Selini Capital, Susquehanna Crypto, and others participating; all tokens are subject to a one-year lockup.
Next: World enters Phase 3
After the funding, World announced that the project is entering the Phase 3 stage in its third year, so that World ID’s “human verification” can truly be implemented:
Zoom verified real-name attendance
Tinder anti-bot matching
Concert tickets anti-scalping
Currently, World ID has over 39 million global users.
Next-stage plans:
Further expand human verification to consumer platforms, enterprise customer identity verification, and human identity tied to AI agents. It also plans to launch a new World ID app, with new progress expected to be released in the autumn of 2026.
