After losing $370k, I got some of it back. Yesterday’s SOXL drop of 12% reminded me of the face-slapping 2023. First, blame myself: around 141.65, 24-hour trading volume was 2.25 billion, and with heavy volume it broke down through the 148 support. Panic overflowed. But don’t panic—let the data speak: the weekly 144 moving average is at 138, and historically the probability of a rebound from this level is over 70%, exactly like the time I got my rebound back.

Trade plan: buy a small position of 0.5 (half-sized) near the current price of 141.65, set a stop-loss at 137.5 (exit if it breaks the prior low). If tomorrow it rebounds to 148–150, add to 1.5, and take profit at 162. Pay attention to position sizing—don’t learn from me and bet the whole account on a rebound.

This wave of volume is big, but it didn’t break through 138—so it might be a washout. I have a recap post on my profile explaining how to use a moving-average system to avoid this kind of big drop. You can check it yourself if you need it.

Vote: Do you believe SOXL can rebound to 160? A. Yes B. No C. Wait for confirmation at 148 before entering. See you in the comments.
