A friend once asked me,
Why does moving crypto between blockchains still feel so complicated?
It was a fair question.
You find an opportunity on one blockchain, but your funds are sitting on another. Before you can do anything, you're opening different wallets, using bridges, paying gas fees and hoping every step goes through without a problem.
For many people, that's where the excitement of DeFi turns into frustration.
That's why I think STONfi latest update is worth paying attention to.
By connecting TON, TRON and major EVM networks, STONfi is making it easier to move supported stablecoins across different ecosystems through one self custodial experience.
The part I find most interesting is Omniston.
Instead of asking users to figure out the technical side of cross chain transfers, Omniston handles the routing and execution behind the scenes. From the user's perspective, it's designed to feel much simpler than the traditional crosschain process.
To me, that's what good infrastructure should do.
It shouldn't make users think harder. It should remove the complexity so they can focus on what they actually want to do whether that's exploring DeFi, accessing new applications or moving funds between ecosystems.
As more blockchains become connected, I think the future of Web3 isn't about choosing one chain over another.
It's about making them work together so seamlessly that most users won't even notice what's happening in the background.
That's the direction STONfi is moving toward.
