Let me tell you why 64,500 bounced back. Imagine you have 66,900 holding short positions, and 64,500 holding long positions—if both sides have equal long/short positions, what are you messing around with? If your long and short positions aren’t the same, then why not boldly say which side has the bigger position? You’re basically telling the market to follow whatever direction your book is. In a range, you hold both directions—ten thousand points, and you still call it one-way.
