A few days ago, the hand that set the stop-loss trembled slightly. Only when I opened the board in the morning did I realize that the worry really was unnecessary. During the mid-session plunge, each time $INJ rebounded it was just short of making a full move; seeing that the follow-through was insufficient, I went short near 5.542 according to plan, waiting for it to work out its direction on its own.

Then the price fell to 5.344. Current profit is +178.13%. This chunk of gain feels great. First, deal with 80% of the position; I’m not in a rush to close the remaining 20%. Move the protective stop to around the cost basis—if it keeps dumping, let the profit run. If a rebound appears, also hold onto the portion you’ve already realized first; don’t take your profits to bet on the final stretch.

Profits don’t inflate endlessly, and pullbacks aren’t hopeless. Putting risk control in place upfront is called rationality; cutting losses only after they go against you is called “a brave man severing his wrist.” Friends who haven’t entered yet, don’t rush in just because a red candle turns green—don’t chase when you miss; wait for good news, and move only when the next wave’s signal is clearer.
