#英特尔Q2营收创15年最快增速
On July 23, 2026, Intel delivered a performance that stunned the market: second-quarter revenue was $16.1 billion, up 25% year over year, the fastest quarterly growth rate since Q3 2011. Adjusted earnings per share were $0.42, twice the market consensus; gross margin surged from 2.5% in the year-ago quarter to 42%. After the earnings release, the stock price jumped by more than 13% at one point in after-hours trading.
The driving engine behind the growth is AI. As AI applications expand at scale from model training to inference and agents, demand for general-purpose server CPUs has surged. Data center and AI revenue was $6.3 billion, up 59% year over year, marking the fastest historical growth. CEO Ren Wu Chen was blunt: “CPUs are taking off.” Total growth for all AI-related business lines exceeded 70%, and the company has already signed 10 long-term supply agreements with customers to lock in future demand.
Client computing revenue was $8.9 billion, up 13% year over year, but growth came mainly from product price increases and product mix optimization, while PC chip unit shipments actually declined. Foundry revenue was $5.8 billion, up 31%; ramp-up of its 18A process yields is ahead of expectations, and progress on next-generation 14A process development is going smoothly. However, the foundry segment still recorded operating losses of over $2 billion, and no large external customers have emerged yet.
Intel increased 2026 capital expenditures to more than $20 billion and signaled that 2027 will see a further significant increase. CEO Ren Wu Chen said the semiconductor industry is facing the most severe supply shortage in history. This earnings report shows Intel has returned to a growth trajectory, but the profitability of the foundry business and the cash-flow pressure from capital expenditures remain key challenges the company must tackle next.
