You missed the previous round of Ondo points retroactive claiming, but there’s still a chance to top up the tickets.

@OndoPerps has officially launched the points program. 5M points are distributed every week on a fixed schedule. In the initial phase, it mainly depends on two factors: trading volume and open interest (OI). The first round of points has already been issued and has retroactively covered trading activity since June 2.
These rules are “a fixed 5M points per week,” not unlimited additional issuance as trading volume increases. The more participants there are, the more the points allocated per unit of trading volume will theoretically be diluted, so later on it will most likely get increasingly competitive.
For ordinary users, a low-difficulty approach is to move positions you were already planning to take—U.S. stocks, indexes, gold, or silver—into the program, and use limit orders as much as possible to reduce the losses caused by repeatedly opening and closing positions just to boost volume.
For more advanced strategies, you can look for direction hedges using the same underlying on other platforms, while still maintaining your trading volume and OI in Ondo Perps. But that doesn’t mean zero cost: trading fees, funding rates, spreads, differences in trading sessions, and liquidation risk could all consume the future value of the points early.
So far, the official side has only confirmed the points rules and has not promised token issuance or an air drop. Individuals can participate, but don’t end up boosting yourself into platform revenue just to chase points that haven’t been priced yet.
