Mars Finance news: On July 24, according to technology media Benchlife, Nvidia (NVDA.O) has sent price-increase notices to its graphics card board partners. The price increase involves GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory modules. It is understood that when Nvidia sells products to board partners, it packages GPU chips with VRAM (memory) chips into kits for supply, while partners are responsible for installing these chips onto their own designed PCBs (printed circuit boards) to produce customized graphics cards. As the prices of GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory modules are expected to be raised again, it is expected that AIB (Add-in Board) manufacturers will have no choice but to raise graphics card prices accordingly.
