Copy trading changed the way I look at the market.

I used to think every trade had to be perfect. Now I realize it's more about following a strategy and staying patient.
Even the best traders have losing days. What matters is how they recover, not whether they win every single trade.
Would you rather copy a trader with higher ROI or one with steady, consistent results?

From chasing perfection on every single trade to accepting that loss is a necessary stage in trading. Thanks for sharing—now I focus more on the trader’s equity curve than on profit or loss from a single trade.

So copying someone’s homework also depends on whether the teacher is steady—don’t copy it and end up with a roller-coaster driver.

The copy-trading feature on Gate really helped me break the bad habit of making frequent operations.

I completely agree. I’ve watched several celebrity traders, and when they lose, they never stubbornly hold on; their stop-losses are very decisive. In contrast, some people who boast a 90% win rate get liquidated after a single black swan event. So no ROI matters more than risk control.

In fact, the biggest enemy of ordinary traders is themselves, and copy trading can reduce emotional interference.
