Deep Tide TechFlow news: On July 24, according to tech media Benchlife, Nvidia (NVDA.O) has sent a price increase notice to its graphics card board partners. The price increase involves GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory modules.
It is understood that when Nvidia sells products to board partners, it supplies them as kits by bundling GPU chips with VRAM (video memory) chips, and the partners install these chips onto their own designed PCBs (printed circuit boards) to produce custom graphics cards. Since the prices of the GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory kits are expected to be raised again, it is expected that AIB (Add-in Board) manufacturers will have no choice but to correspondingly increase graphics card prices.
