Guohai Securities’ Liu Xi: Domestic computing power is expected to accelerate its catch-up to global advanced levels in the supernode era

Mars Finance reports: Liu Xi, chief analyst for the computer industry at Guohai Securities, said that 2026 will be the first year of large-scale expansion for domestically produced AI chips based on domestic supply chains. In the second half of this year, it is expected that the next generation of high-performance AI chips will be brought to the market, with even large-scale shipments. In addition, domestic vendors are also aggressively advancing R&D on new “supernode” architecture products. A supernode is a super system that integrates key areas such as chips, computing, storage, networking, heat dissipation, and applications. In the supernode era, China’s domestic computing power is expected to accelerate its catch-up to global advanced levels. (China Securities Journal)
