Now fable 5 is included in claude max plans, here's a few tips to get the most out of your limits

-use fable to plan, not execute
-instead, ask fable to orchestrate opus and sonnet agents to do the work, they are more than capable of following a well structured plan created by fable
-fable then quality checks the work done by opus and sonnet, fixes and refines edge cases they may have missed, or carry's out part of the task they may have struggled to complete if complex
This gives you fable performance without nailing your fable quota within a few days and smashing your current session limits then needing to wait
If you're still hitting session limits doing this, first thing before your day starts, send a random message in claude chat, this starts your session limit, by the time you start running code you'll be a few hours into your session. So you essentially get double the session usage within the same 5 hours of undisrupted 'flow state'
Effort levels - medium or high is more than enough for most tasks on fable, above nails usage and its overkill. Even low effort works pretty well
I won't give you the AI guru 'use this exact prompt' to do this, just use some common sense, even just copy and paste this into claude code and it will structure system based on what you need. Personalised back and forth chat is better than any generic slop that influencers love to post anyway
