Businesses Are Accumulating Bitcoin While Individuals Sell

A recent trend in the Bitcoin market shows a clear shift in ownership. According to River data, businesses added around 115,000 BTC in Q2, while individuals reduced their holdings by nearly 78,000 BTC.
This shows how market participants are changing. While some individual investors are taking profits or reducing exposure, companies and long-term holders appear to be viewing Bitcoin as a strategic asset.
Large-scale accumulation can reduce available supply and may influence future market dynamics if demand continues to grow.
Bitcoin’s story is not only about price movements anymore it is also about adoption, ownership, and how different groups view its long-term value.
The key question now is: Will institutional demand continue to absorb available supply?
