I just wanted to check the chart, but I didn’t expect that move at the high point to directly send short-sell profits to my hands. My mood instantly improved. A few days ago, before bed, the $ADA bounce still didn’t have any strength. Every time it tried to push up, it fell short by one breath, and the volume didn’t follow either. I judged that the overhead resistance was still there, so I sent a signal to open shorts as planned, and after confirmation, I let the position follow through.

The entry price for the short was 0.2438. Now the price is at 0.1667. This round of short positions has already been realized at +2243.91%. It was indeed a grind before, but once the direction plays out, the answer becomes obvious naturally.

Take the big chunk off first: close 80%. Move the remaining 20%’s protection level to around the cost basis. If it continues to sell off further, let the profits run. Even if it bounces back, don’t spit out the gains you already took.

Being out of a position isn’t a crime—opening trades recklessly is the mistake. Don’t let profits balloon uncontrollably, and don’t despair when you get drawdowns. Friends who haven’t jumped in yet, don’t chase the order. Wait for the next round of signals to move, because the market doesn’t lack opportunities—what it lacks is patience.
