ECB policymaker: The duration of the Middle East conflict is crucial to monetary policy

Golden Finance reported on July 24 that Kochler, a member of the ECB’s Governing Council, said that recent developments in the oil market are concerning. In September, the ECB will either raise interest rates or keep interest rates unchanged, and there is no solid evidence showing that a second-round (inflation) effect exists. The length of time the conflict in the Middle East continues is clearly crucial to monetary policy. (China Financial Network)
