Did nothing—just went to the restroom. When I came back, the candlesticks had already finished the work on my short position for me. This kind of downside pace really feels good.

A few days ago, during the afternoon session when it kept chopping and oscillating, I noticed that each time it bounced, it never quite had enough—prices couldn’t push up, but the sell orders were layered down one by one. Back then, I flagged the short around 345.75, waiting for the pullback after insufficient follow-through.

Currently $BCH has reached 211.67, and the position’s profit shows +2751.61%. It was worth the wait—the previous consolidation finally provided an opportunity to realize gains.

Get the biggest chunk into your pocket first: close 80%, and keep the remaining 20% for further observation. Place the protection level back near the cost basis. If weakness continues, let the profits run for a bit longer; if there’s a sudden rebound, you won’t end up turning gains into regret.

The market is something you wait for. Profit is something you hold. If you just missed the timing, don’t rush to add—chasing orders can get you stuck at the top of the hill. When the next signal comes out, then you move. The market isn’t short of opportunities—what it lacks is patience.
