A-shares midday review: ChiNext Index fell 1.78% for the first half of the session; precious metals, cloud computing power rental, and AI application sectors led the declines

Mars Finance News: On July 24, the three major A-share index benchmarks all fell collectively in early trading. By the mid-session close, the Shanghai Composite was down 1.2%, the Shenzhen Component was down 1.77%, and the ChiNext Price Index was down 1.78%; the Northern Exchange 50 was down 3%. The total trading value across the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets was approximately 12253.66 billion yuan, which was a contraction of about 2306.29 billion yuan compared with the previous trading day. By the noon session, 548 stocks rose and 4939 stocks fell across the market, including 32 stocks that hit the daily limit up and 4 stocks that hit the daily limit down. On the trading board, military equipment performed strongly: Great Wall Military Industry had a second straight limit-up, Construction Industry hit the daily limit up, Chaozhuo Aerospace rose more than 15%, and Jianglong Shipbuilding, Tianqin Equipment, Beifang Long, and Shengnan Technology rose more than 10%; Inner Mongolia First Machinery, Morningstar Aviation, Xinyu Guoke, Tianhai Defense, and Guoke Military followed higher. The precious metals sector opened sharply lower: Zijin Mining, Sichuan Gold, and Hunan Silver fell more than 7%, while Xingye Silver & Tin and Xiaocheng Technology also fell. The computing power leasing theme continued to weaken: Litong Electronics and ZhenTong Electronics touched the daily limit down, while Xintong Electronics, Qunxing Toys, Yunya Cloud Technology, Yitian Intelligent, and Digital China also fell. The AI application sector opened lower and trended downward: LianDi Information and MiaoAo Exhibition fell more than 10%, while Lufang Holdings, Daily Interaction, and Digital China also fell.
