Deep Tide TechFlow message: On July 24, according to Cointelegraph, Republican senators in the U.S. released draft text of the Digital Asset Market Transparency Act (CLARITY Act) on Wednesday. The draft includes ethical provisions prohibiting all federal officials (including President Donald Trump) from issuing or sponsoring digital assets. Democratic Senator Ruben Gallego strongly criticized it, saying the bill is “not a serious effort,” and said he will work with lawmakers such as Republican Senator Thom Tillis to propose countermeasures. Republican Senator Bernie Moreno, meanwhile, insisted that the draft contains “the strongest ethical language in U.S. history.”
