U.S. Sen. Ruben Gallego said the Republican-backed CLARITY Act ethics language was inadequate and plans another amendment. The revised provision would bar all federal officials, including President Donald Trump, from issuing or endorsing digital assets. Gallego said negotiations were still underway and new language would be presented.
