I didn’t really expect to get my money back, but it directly brought me to profit—this short position really came out of nowhere. When it dumped during the session, I saw $NAS100 lose steam on the upside; the buy pressure didn’t keep rallying, and the price kept getting repeatedly pressured at high levels. So I issued the guidance to wait for a break in structure first, then handle it in the same direction—no head-on fight with the rebound.
Entry reference was 29,885.23, current price is 28,383, and the return is already +467.27%—it wasn’t in vain. The genuinely comfortable part isn’t that it fell fast, but that after entering, it didn’t repeatedly whipsaw with counter-bounces and throw off the rhythm. Execute exactly as planned.
Take profit first: close the position with +467.27% first, and keep the remaining 20% to follow through, pushing the stop-loss up to near the cost basis. If it keeps selling off, let it run on its own; during pullbacks, it can also keep the risk contained. Don’t get greedy for that last bite, and don’t spit back the profits you’ve already realized.
Have a plan before the open, maintain discipline during the session, and reflect after the close. The market is ruthless toward people who think they’re the smartest—chasing downside is just as easy to get pulled back. This isn’t the time to rush. Wait for the next round of signals, then act—quietly await good news.
