No vision, can’t hold—this batch of profit is paper-thin, but I love it.
In the morning when $IO just got hammered and the market started dumping, the rebound never had real strength. Trading volume was light; the moment the price pushed up, sell pressure slammed it back down. I didn’t chase and open positions at the time. I waited until I confirmed the lack of sufficient support, then entered following the short-side rhythm.
From 0.16207 to 0.14931, the current return is +566.08%. The earlier part was painfully slow, but exiting and actually seeing it pay off felt so damn good. In a market under pressure at the highs, the worst thing is letting emotions run hot and suddenly messing up the plan. Being able to wait until the direction is realized is, in itself, execution.
Now I’ll close 80% first. The big portion goes into my pocket. The remaining 20% stays under observation. I’ll also move the stop-loss up to protect my cost basis. If it keeps dipping further, let the profit run. If a rebound comes back, it only lets the market take space—not letting the already realized portion go back again.
Pros die at trying to bottom fish; rookies die by chasing new orders. Wise people live in the present. Don’t ruin the earlier rhythm just for the last bite. If you haven’t boarded yet, don’t add—there are still opportunities. Wait for the next shot at a more comfortable position.
