On July 17, the legal department of Shangjie Auto issued a clarification regarding recent rumors such as “Shangjie Auto has separated from Huawei’s Hongmeng Zhixing.” The legal department stated that, according to an initial investigation, the rumors were created and disseminated by online accounts such as “Che Gulou Hua” that produced and published false or misleading information, infringing on Shangjie Auto’s legitimate rights and interests.

In response, Shangjie Auto issued a solemn statement saying that Shangjie Auto is a member of the Hongmeng Zhixing ecosystem, jointly empowered by SAIC Group and Huawei. The current cooperation model between the two parties is stable, market performance is steady and showing positive momentum, and there has been no change in brand operations.
