Tesla’s earnings report dropped, and the after-hours stock price immediately fell by more than 5%, dragging the crypto market down with it as well. Although Old Ma didn’t sell a single Bitcoin this time, the $112 million impairment charge on that BTC holding still poured cold water on the hot market. BTC instantly lost its momentum to press forward and could only keep tugging around the $66,000 level, with short-term sentiment clearly cooling off.
But if you look closely at the order book, the drama in the arena hasn’t reached the curtain call yet. This pullback looks more like the leading capital circling within its own pool; although institutional sell pressure is still faintly there, Old Ma hasn’t come out to hype the coin market, but buyers’ confidence hasn’t really dispersed. Large players are controlling the pace of the order book—using this earnings-related negative news to muddy the waters, and at the same time continuing to accumulate at lower levels. The main structure on the bulls’ side is actually intact.
For traders who want to profit from short-term volatility, the current battlefield is very clear. Around the long, narrow range of $65,590 to $66,712, both bulls and bears are locked in a dead fight, and the VWAP average line at $65,970 is the line between life and death. Trading volume is thin during the Asian session; once price breaks below this average line, it will most likely dip toward $65,590. Then in the London session, if price can reclaim the area above the average line, the bulls could launch a counterattack at any time, aiming to revisit the $66,712 high.
In terms of execution feel, aggressive traders can try a small long position around $66,100, with a stop loss firmly placed at $65,839. Take profit should be staged and locked in piece by piece. What must be watched closely is the defensive level at $65,500—if this level is lost, the downside channel opens up, and price could likely keep plunging all the way to the $65,000 psychological level. For long-term trend traders, as long as the $65,000 main base isn’t smashed through, there’s no need to scare yourself; just keep holding tightly and steadily.
Right now it’s capital withdrawing and big players flushing the market. The big trend hasn’t broken, but small moves are constant. If you want to make quick money, buy low and sell high within the range, enter and exit fast. If you’re more steady, just grab a small seat and watch—wait for the market to dump with volume and print a clear direction before hitting back hard. #夏日创作营 $BTC $TSLA
