This wave of decline didn’t come out of nowhere. What was truly sudden was for those still chasing the rebound—just moments ago they were full of expectation, and in the blink of an eye they could only watch the shorts take over the tempo.

A few days ago, before going to bed, I repeatedly checked how $BTC was performing around BTC. The rebound became harder and harder to sustain, and there was clear overhead suppression. The moment sell pressure appeared, it pulled price down—so the so-called strength never really managed to hold its ground. So I warned back then: there was a heavy bull-trap (long-bait) vibe; don’t take risks just to chase the final push upward.

The short was filled near 76886.0, and a long was opened. The current price is 64937.9. This realized trade performance is +2701.57%. The earlier part was honestly a bit sluggish, but once it finally moved, it really felt great.

Position handling isn’t complicated: close 80% first, keep the remaining 20% for observation, and make sure to protect the cost basis. If it’s time to take the profit, take the profit—don’t get greedy for the last bite. If price continues pressing lower, then let the gains slowly extend.

No matter how much floating profit you have, it doesn’t truly belong to you until you’ve taken it. Chasing more can easily get you stuck up on the mountaintop. If you didn’t catch it, don’t rush—just wait for the next, more comfortable opportunity.
