According to Ming Pao, Hong Kong dollar interbank borrowing rates generally moved higher, with the one-month HIBOR related to mortgage lending ending a two-day decline and rising 3.48 basis points to 2.7147%, the highest level since July 21, when it was 2.71548%. The previous time it ended a two-day slide was on July 14, when the borrowing rate was 2.73792%.
