TechFlow update from Deep Tide: On July 24, AMD CEO Lisa Su said that the second-generation AI server Helios has entered full-scale production, and is expected to ship by the end of the third quarter this year, driven by strong customer demand. The server is equipped with the new AI accelerator Instinct MI455X and the next-generation Venice central processing unit, both manufactured by TSMC. OpenAI plans to deploy Helios later this year. AMD is using this to catch up with Nvidia in the data center chip market.
