DeFi aggregator Odos announces shutdown, permanently stops services on July 30
Deep Tide TechFlow news: On July 24, according to a post on Odos’ official X account, the operating company behind DeFi liquidity aggregation protocol Odos announced that it will shut down its business. The specific timeline is as follows: starting July 23, new account registration, new wallet creation, and new limit order functionality have been disabled; existing users can still swap normally and close positions. From July 27 to 30, the app switches to read-only mode, and users can view historical transaction records and balances. On July 30, all Odos services are permanently shut down.
Odos is a non-custodial protocol, and users’ assets remain on-chain. Users who create wallets by signing in via social accounts or email must complete asset transfers or private key exports before July 30. In addition, the ODOS token exists independently on-chain; the company’s closure does not affect its on-chain mechanisms. Odos DAO will separately announce its subsequent plans.
