Just when I was about to go on the forum and start cursing, I looked at the chart—forget it, the market daddy is always right. A few days ago, in the afternoon, everyone was still watching from the sidelines, but $ZEC was getting weaker the higher it went while stalling in the high range. Then it dropped hard with one step back, putting the direction right in front of our eyes.
When the plunge happened during the session, I went back to review ZEC’s performance: the previous rebound didn’t form continuous follow-through. Every time the price tried to move up, it was quickly pushed back down. Trading volume was light, and sell orders were actually more proactive. That kind of move looked like it had momentum, but in reality it lacked follow-through. So at the time I warned not to be lured by a fake breakout. After it touched around 529.74 again, I executed a go-long.
Now the current price is 503.96, and the short position has already been realized at +345.97%. This move was indeed very smooth to hold. Take profits when you should—close 80% first, then keep the remaining 20% for further observation. The protective stop is locked around the cost basis. If it continues to sell off, let the profit run; if it rebounds, there will be limits too—no giving back gains.
Profit doesn’t inflate, and drawdowns aren’t hopeless.
For friends who didn’t get on the train, don’t chase the dip. At this level it’s easy to get swept back and forth. Wait until the next cycle’s structure becomes clear again, and I’ll give a timely heads-up. Opportunities are still there—patience is worth more than impulse.
