Did nothing at all—just poured myself a glass of water. When I came back, the chart had already finished the work for me. At the start of the day when the sell-off was just happening, $AZTEC ’s rebound had no volume; several pushes couldn’t quite make it. I saw the lack of follow-through, judged that it was a likely bull-trap, and then entered the short position as planned.
My entry price was 0.02762, and the current price is already back to 0.01354. Unrealized gains realized on paper: +1252.72%—that bit of profit feels so good. This wasn’t about guessing; it was about waiting for it to shake out its weakness before taking action.
First, I pocket the main part—close 80% first, then keep the remaining 20% under observation. I’ve moved the protection level to around the cost basis. If it keeps selling off further, let the profit naturally extend; if it suddenly dead-cat bounces, I won’t end up giving back all the earlier gains.
I’d rather miss a run than chase shorts at the lows. Risk control comes first—that’s called being rational. Cutting losses after they happen—that’s called “a warrior severing his arm.”
Now don’t chase shorts out of envy—wait for the next shot. The market will never only give one chance. When a new structure forms, we’ll look again. Keep the tempo steady and wait for good news.
