Did nothing—just went to the restroom, and when I came back, the chart candles had already finished the job for me. A few days ago, the afternoon trading was still a tug-of-war; then $TAO suddenly spiked, but no one ever took the bid. Volume was weak and support was insufficient. I’d warned not to chase longs, and after confirmation, I opened a short around 277.1.

Looking back, the price has already come to 193.1. The short position shows a gain of +1461.59%. Feels great—what matters isn’t catching every single candle, but seeing the overhead suppression and having the patience to wait for realization.

Handling the position isn’t complicated: first close 80%, and let the remaining 20% keep under observation. The protective level is moved in parallel to around the cost basis. If there’s continuation downward, let the profit run on its own. If the pullback accelerates, don’t let floating gains turn back into a key level again.

Profits don’t balloon, and drawdowns aren’t hopeless. Pros die trying to bottom-pick, while retail traders perish by chasing orders. Being able to control your hand is also a kind of achievement.

Now isn’t the time to rush in. If you missed this move, don’t rush to short. Wait for the next wave of signals to act—there are still opportunities. Patience is worth more than impulsiveness.
