This run is purely about the market mood. I tossed out some coins on a whim, and they just happened to hit me right on the head. When the whole screen was glowing green, $ICP finally tore open that prior layer of fake dominance, and the shorts’ rhythm suddenly fell into place.

When I thought this move was completely doomed, I actually refocused back on ICP. The price kept probing the upside in a row, but every time it failed to hold effectively. The breakout volume kept getting thinner; once it went up, there was nobody to buy, while selling pressure kept stacking layer by layer. My focus at the time was simple: don’t chase; wait until the rebound loses steam before acting. Later, when the price returned to around 2.528, I followed the plan and opened a long position, and I wasn’t thrown off by intraday fakeouts.

Now 2.158 has already made the direction clear. The short position is floating in profit by +704.84%, and the timing is spot on. First, take profit on 80%, and keep the remaining 20% for the trend. Move the stop-loss up to the cost basis; if it keeps falling, let it run. If it bounces back, don’t let the profit turn back into risk.

Even if you only make one point—if it’s enough to take something away, then it’s yours. Even if the floating profit is larger, it’s still just the market lending it to you temporarily.

If you didn’t catch up, don’t rush to chase. Wait for the next wave of signals, and then act. Real comfortable opportunities often aren’t in that most heated moment.
