The US has announced additional tariffs of 10% to 12.5% on dozens of countries and regions, effective on the 24th at Eastern Time.

Golden Finance reports that on July 24, the Office of the United States Trade Representative issued an announcement on July 23, announcing that, pursuant to Article 301 of the Trade Act of 1974, it will impose additional tariffs of 10% to 12.5% on dozens of countries and regions in the name of so-called “forced labor,” to replace the global import tariffs that are about to expire. The new tariffs will take effect on July 24 Eastern Time.
