You’d think once someone starts making $500,000 a year, living paycheck to paycheck becomes impossible.


Apparently not.
The latest data tells a different story:
Under $50K: 57%
$50K–$100K: 36%
$100K–$200K: 25%
$200K–$300K: 16%
$300K–$500K: 41%
$500K+: 40%
The most interesting part isn’t how many low-income households struggle.
It’s how many high-income households still do.
Because earning more money doesn’t automatically create financial security.
You can make $50,000 and spend $50,000.
You can make $500,000 and spend $500,000.
The paycheck gets bigger.
So do the house.
The car.
The vacations.
The lifestyle.
More income can solve an income problem.
But it can’t solve a spending problem.
That’s why financial freedom isn’t about how much you make.
It’s about how much of what you make you actually get to keep.
