I only wanted to grab a quick breakfast, but the chart essentially served a hard course straight onto the table for my short. A few days ago, in the afternoon, after $BCH rebounded to the high range, it kept getting pressured. Each time it tried to push higher, it fell just short—I judged that there was not enough buy-side follow-through, so I advised opening a short around 345.75: first, see whether the breakout attempt fails at the highs, then wait for a pullback to confirm.

Now the price is already at 210.63. My short-entry rhythm is on point, and the floating gains are +2773.78%. This chunk of profit feels great. I take the biggest portion first and close 80%—then I move the remaining 20%’s protective stop to around my entry cost. If it keeps dumping further, let the profits run. Even if it bounces back, don’t give back the profit you already locked in.

Being in a short position isn’t a crime—opening trades recklessly is the mistake. Don’t be greedy for the last bite. Only the profit you can actually take is yours.

For friends who haven’t jumped in yet, listen to me: don’t rush to chase just because you see the price dropping. Wait for the next round at a more comfortable level. Once the new structure forms, take another look—opportunities are still there. Don’t be in a hurry.
