A few days ago, in the last glance before sleeping, it was still ranging. But when I opened the chart in the morning, the mood had already changed. $ETH At the high level, it was holding on only with great difficulty; after several pullbacks, it still didn’t manage to reclaim a solid footing. The more the price tried to push upward, the more obvious the sell pressure became.
While everyone was still watching from the sidelines, what I was tracking was the change in ETH’s absorption: the buy side hadn’t kept up, each rebound peak was lower than the last, and volume stayed consistently low. This setup isn’t suitable for chasing. Instead, it looks more like a window for the bears to wait for confirmation, so I chose to wait patiently for the signal to play out.
Executed a long at around 2118.05. Now it has fallen back to 1871.92; this short position has realized a profit of +1080.23%. No fancy moves—only following the plan after seeing that the absorption had weakened.
Close for +1080.23% profit first, pocket the main gains, keep the remaining 77% running, and adjust the protection level to around the cost basis. If the sell-off continues, let it run naturally. And if a rebound appears, I won’t let the already realized portion give back.
Profits don’t balloon, and drawdowns aren’t hopeless. Chasing longs can get you hung up at the top of the mountain; chasing shorts can also be dealt with by a rebound. There’s still opportunity ahead—wait until the next wave’s signal is clear before acting again.
