Just after I finished watching the bearish news, the market was still pretending to stay calm on the surface, and then it quickly started dropping to hunt for key levels. This round of short-selling was executed very cleanly. A few days ago, when I was watching the chart in the afternoon, $WIF rebounded, but each bounce was weaker than the last—volume didn’t keep up. Every time the price approached a key level zone, it was pushed back down.
I saw WIF grind at the highs repeatedly, but there wasn’t sustained buying to step in and take over. On the surface it looked like it was building up power, but in the details it felt more like a bull trap. Back then, I reminded everyone: don’t let being misled by one or two breakout candles. Wait until the sell-side truly starts to gain strength, then make your move.
The short position was opened around 0.1891. The current price is 0.1438. The review outcome is +1156.19%. Even though it was grinding and annoying at first, once the direction finally landed, all the waiting got answered.
First, close to lock in the +1156.19% profit. The remaining 81% will continue to be observed, and the protection level is moved up to around the cost basis. If it keeps dumping lower, let the remaining position run with it; if it rebounds upward, at least it won’t give back the bulk of the profit.
Being in no position isn’t a crime—opening trades carelessly is the mistake. This isn’t the time to rush. Don’t try to catch a falling knife just to chase back missed moves. The market has no shortage of opportunities—wait until the next cycle of structure is formed, then reassess.
