The worst way to die trading contracts is to die going all-in.

Many people hear that going all-in can withstand volatility, so they think it’s safe—and they choose the all-in mode right away. But all-in was never a shield for you to misuse your position. If you truly go all-in with 10x leverage, and the market turns against you in one move, your entire account is wiped out instantly—no time even to react.

I’ve seen too many people: with only a few thousand USDT in their account, they dare to place a big bet in one shot to gamble on a short-term trade. What happens? The market just wobbles a little, and they’re liquidated right away. Going all-in is to help you keep one more breath—it’s not a reason to risk your life for volatility.

With the same 10x leverage, some people lose a bit and cut losses to exit. Others cling to the account and stubbornly carry it all the way, until it’s blown clean. The difference comes down to two words: position sizing.

If your account has 1000 USDT and you only use 100 USDT to open a 50x position, then if you’re wrong you can stop out in time—and you can still save your life. But if you smash 900 USDT into it, even with only 10x leverage, once the market wobbles, the whole account gets buried with it.

So don’t keep asking how many times leverage is “safe.” What you should think about is:

· How much of your position did you use for this trade?
· Did you set a stop-loss?
· If you went the wrong way, can you actually afford to hold through it?

I’m trading contracts now, and I still use all-in—but I follow hard rules:

· Each trade can’t exceed two-tenths of the total account;
· A stop-loss is mandatory, and losses must be kept within a safe range;
· Don’t mess around in the ranging/sideways zone;
· Don’t add to your position impulsively because of emotions.

To live through it, you don’t rely on dodging risk—you rely on managing risk.

All-in isn’t letting you go all the way all at once—it’s letting you handle volatility with more flexibility. If you get the direction right, your profit won’t be short by even one cent; if you get it wrong, you still have the chance to play the next round.

The people who survive aren’t the ones who gamble the hardest, but the ones who calculate risk the clearest. Keep that in mind. #夏日创作营
