Vlad got hacked and the hacker launched a coin. I bought it. everyone “hated” me for it. “you’re supporting a scam” or “you’re buying a hack coin”
i still made money
here’s the truth: the coin doesn’t care about the story behind it. a chart is a chart. liquidity is liquidity. if there’s volume, you can trade it
but then I let the timeline get in my head. so i sold. at the bottom
and the coin kept going without me
would’ve made way more if i just held and ignored the noise. instead i let other people’s opinions override my own read and it cost me
two lessons here:
1. you can make money on literally anything if the setup is right. hacked accounts, scam launches, controversy coins. you’re either trading what’s in front of you or you’re watching someone else do it
2. the moment you let someone else’s opinion override your own conviction, you’ve already lost. doesn’t matter if it’s a “good” reason
sold the bottom because i cared more about what people thought than what the chart was doing. won’t make that mistake again
