This time it wasn’t my guess— the chart itself has written the answer on its face. When the market was smashed in the early session, $DOT looked like it might stop falling, but several rebounds failed to truly hold. The buy-side was weak and the sell pressure was heavy; the higher it tried to go, the more forced it looked.

I opened a long position around 0.832. I wasn’t watching a single K-line—what I was focused on was that the rebound kept lacking follow-through. After the spike, it was quickly pushed back down. Now the price is back to 0.81, and the return shows +187.62%. The waiting beforehand wasn’t in vain—I’m eating this short-side profit very comfortably.

When it’s time to take profit, take it. Close 80% first—don’t get greedy for the very last bite. For the remaining 20%, move the protection level to around the cost basis. If weakness continues, let the profit extend; if there’s a rebound, there’s also room to hold the gains.

The market is something you wait out; profit is something you hold onto. Without a plan, the faster your hand moves, the easier it is to get messy. For friends who haven’t entered yet, don’t chase the selloff and run—wait for the next wave of signals to be clear, and I’ll prompt you right away.
