A business owner shared two employee stories that honestly sound made up.

One employee was fired on her second day after showing up late twice.
The first time, she said she had to pick up her driver’s license.
The second time, she said she was dealing with period pain.
She was genuinely shocked when she got fired.
Then another employee showed up for her first day, worked for two hours, and simply disappeared.
Her manager called the owner:
“Umm… I think she quit?”
The owner told the manager to email her, wish her well, and pay her for the entire day.
