That quick drop just finally tore off the market’s “cover.” Right after the sell-off at the open, $MON was still probing around the high levels again and again. On the surface it looked like it was building up energy, but in reality every time it pushed up, there was no sustained buying—when the price touched a key level, it immediately pulled back. What I saw was insufficient support, not a strong breakout.

I was watching the rhythm of MON, and at around 0.02670 I executed a long. The logic was simple: if the rebound isn’t smooth, volume isn’t keeping up, and there’s heavy sell pressure overhead, then don’t chase that bit of fake strength. Now the price is at 0.02295, and my short position has already realized a gain of +676.37%—this profit is locked in solidly.

First, close 80%. Keep 20% and move the protection level to near the cost basis. If it continues to press down, let the profit run; even if it bounces back, don’t give back what you’ve already taken. Profit isn’t about greedily grabbing the very last bite—getting it into your pocket is the real win.

If you missed this leg, don’t rush to add tickets. Chasing trades is easy to get stuck at the top of the mountain. Have a plan before the session, have discipline during the session. Wait for clear structure to show up in the next round before acting—there are still opportunities. Don’t be in a hurry.
