Deep Tide TechFlow message. On July 23, Tom Lee, Chairman of Bitmine—the Ethereum treasury company—reposted a related interview on X, saying that artificial intelligence is closing in on the so-called “uncanny valley of wealth.” At some point in the future, the income created by AI agents that individuals own may exceed the labor income earned by that person themselves.

Tom Lee believes that when this time comes, people may begin to question whether “they are the ones working for AI, or whether AI is working for them.” In the future, AI agents may take over bank accounts, replace some job roles, and even build an independent financial system. He also acknowledged that this trend “may make people fear the future.”
