I wanted to cut my losses and make an offering to the heavens, but the heavens were never offered— instead, the short position itself first managed to pull the situation back. 📉

After I opened the market in the morning, I went back and reviewed $TSLAX ’s overnight rhythm. I saw it was being pulled up in a lively way, but the trades didn’t keep up—once it moved up, nobody was there to catch it. The moment the price came close to the key levels, it started to go soft. At that time, I reminded myself: don’t treat a “limitless” pull-up as a real breakout—the “pulling longs” temptation was already very strong. Then I executed the short near 419.62. The current price fell to 331.75, and the floating profit showed +1010.97%. This wasn’t a night in vain.

The position adjustment was simple: first close 80%, and put whatever you can into your pocket; protect the remaining 20% at the cost basis. If it keeps dumping, just ride it through—if there’s a rebound, exit in time.

Pros die trying to bottom-fish, while retail traders die chasing the next order. The real skill is being able to carry the plan through. For friends who haven’t boarded yet, listen to this: don’t chase the decline to buy back more—there will be opportunities later.
