Just after I set the cup down, the chart started handing out red envelopes to the shorts. When I opened the chart in the morning, $FIL was still lingering in the high zone; there was no obvious breakdown on the surface. Yet I could see that every time it pushed up, there was no volume—once selling pressure came in, it immediately pulled down. The bid support clearly couldn’t keep up.
A few days ago I was watching FIL late in the evening. I judged this wasn’t strong accumulation; it looked more like a loosening after a weak rebound. So around 0.9335, I executed a long and put risk first, then waited for the chart to choose a direction on its own.
Now the price has reached 0.7359. The shorts’ rhythm has been realized, and the returns are showing +1018.35%—this piece of meat is delicious. Take profits first; don’t get greedy for the last bite.
I’ve already closed 80% of it. The remaining 20% continues for protection—move the stop-loss to the cost basis. If it keeps dropping, let the profits run; if it bounces back, don’t give the gains back. During the session I won’t chase. If I miss it, I won’t scramble to average down. When the next signal comes out, I’ll act again. The market has no shortage of opportunities—what it lacks is patience.
